ۖ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولًا

مَرَحًا
marahan
(with) insolence
إِنَّكَ

and will never
تَبْلُغَ
tablugha
reach
الْجِبَالَ
al-jibala
the mountains

Translittération
Wa laa tamshi fil ardi marahan innaka lan takhriqal arda wa lan tablughal jibaala toola
Traduction
Et ne foule pas la terre avec orgueil: tu ne sauras jamais fendre la terre et tu ne pourras jamais atteindre la hauteur des montagnes!
Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)
Ne marche pas sur Terre avec arrogance et orgueil car aussi arrogant et orgueilleux que tu sois, tu ne pourras fendre la Terre avec tes pas et atteindre la hauteur des montagnes. Pour quelle raison es-tu donc arrogant?
