ۖ يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

يَسْمَعُ

عَلَيْهِ

arrogantly
كَأَن
ka-an
as if
لَّمْ

not
يَسْمَعْهَا
yasma'ha
he heard them
فَبَشِّرْهُ
fabashir'hu
So give him tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
bi'adhabin
(of) a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
alimin
painful
