المنافقون · Verset 10 / 11 · Page 555
وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Mot a mot
وَأَنفِقُوا
wa-anfiqu
And spend
مِن
min
from
مَّا
ma
what
رَزَقْنَاكُم
razaqnakum
We have provided you
مِّن
min
from
قَبْلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَأْتِيَ
yatiya
comes
أَحَدَكُمُ
ahadakumu
(to) one of you
الْمَوْتُ
al-mawtu
the death
فَيَقُولَ
fayaqula
and he says
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
لَوْلَا
lawla
Why not
أَخَّرْتَنِي
akhartani
You delay me
إِلَى
ila
for
أَجَلٍ
ajalin
a term
قَرِيبٍ
qaribin
near
فَأَصَّدَّقَ
fa-assaddaqa
so I would give charity
وَأَكُن
wa-akun
and be
مِّنَ
mina
among
الصَّالِحِينَ
al-salihina
the righteous
