آل عمران · Verset 156 / 200 · Page 70
ۗ ۗ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُوا عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُوا لِيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Mot a mot

يَا أَيُّهَا

O you
الَّذِينَ
alladhina

آمَنُوا

believe[d]
لَا

(Do) not
تَكُونُوا
takunu
be
كَالَّذِينَ
ka-alladhina
like those who
كَفَرُوا
kafaru
disbelieved
وَقَالُوا
waqalu
and they said
لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ
li-ikh'wanihim
about their brothers
إِذَا
idha
when
ضَرَبُوا
darabu
they traveled
فِي
fi
in
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
أَوْ
aw
or
كَانُوا
kanu
they were
غُزًّى
ghuzzan
fighting
لَّوْ
law
if
كَانُوا
kanu
they had been
عِندَنَا
indana
with us
مَا
ma
not
مَاتُوا
matu
they (would have) died
وَمَا
wama
and not
قُتِلُوا
qutilu
they (would have) been killed
لِيَجْعَلَ
liyaj'ala
So makes
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ذَلِكَ
dhalika
that
حَسْرَةً
hasratan
a regret
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِمْ
qulubihim
their hearts
وَاللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يُحْيِي
yuh'yi
gives life
وَيُمِيتُ
wayumitu
and causes death
وَاللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
