ۚ ۖ اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Mot a mot
ۚ
ۖ
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَتَوَفَّى
yatawaffa
takes
الْأَنفُسَ
al-anfusa
the souls
حِينَ
hina
(at the) time
مَوْتِهَا
mawtiha
(of) their death
وَالَّتِي
wa-allati
and the one who
لَمْ
lam
(does) not
تَمُتْ
tamut
die
فِي
fi
in
مَنَامِهَا
manamiha
their sleep
فَيُمْسِكُ
fayum'siku
Then He keeps
الَّتِي
allati
the one whom
قَضَى
qada
He has decreed
عَلَيْهَا
alayha
for them
الْمَوْتَ
al-mawta
the death
وَيُرْسِلُ
wayur'silu
and sends
الْأُخْرَى
al-ukh'ra
the others
إِلَى
ila
for
أَجَلٍ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمًّى
musamman
specified
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَآيَاتٍ
laayatin
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوْمٍ
liqawmin
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaruna
who ponder
