فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَيْ أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِّن سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ
Mot a mot
فَأَعْرَضُوا
fa-a'radu
But they turned away
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
fa-arsalna
so We sent
عَلَيْهِمْ
alayhim
upon them
سَيْلَ
sayla
(the) flood
الْعَرِمِ
al-'arimi
(of) the dam
وَبَدَّلْنَاهُم
wabaddalnahum
and We changed for them
بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ
bijannatayhim
their two gardens
جَنَّتَيْنِ
jannatayni
(with) two gardens
ذَوَاتَيْ
dhawatay
producing fruit
أُكُلٍ
ukulin
producing fruit
خَمْطٍ
khamtin
bitter
وَأَثْلٍ
wa-athlin
and tamarisks
وَشَيْءٍ
washayin
and (some)thing
مِّن
min
of
سِدْرٍ
sid'rin
lote trees
قَلِيلٍ
qalilin
few
