ۚ ۚ وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا
Mot a mot

وَلَقَدْ

And verily
أَتَوْا

الْقَرْيَةِ
al-qaryati
the town
الَّتِي

which
أُمْطِرَتْ

was showered
مَطَرَ

(with) a rain
السَّوْءِ
al-sawi
(of) evil
أَفَلَمْ

Then do not
يَكُونُوا
yakunu
they [were]
يَرَوْنَهَا
yarawnaha
see it
بَلْ
bal
Nay
كَانُوا
kanu
they are
لَا
la
not
يَرْجُونَ
yarjuna
expecting
نُشُورًا
nushuran
