الشورى · Verset 40 / 53 · Page 487
ۖ ۚ وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ
Mot a mot
ۖ
ۚ
وَجَزَاءُ
wajazau
(The) recompense
سَيِّئَةٍ
sayyi-atin
(of) an evil
سَيِّئَةٌ
sayyi-atun
(is) an evil
مِّثْلُهَا
mith'luha
like it
فَمَنْ
faman
But whoever
عَفَا
afa
pardons
وَأَصْلَحَ
wa-aslaha
and makes reconciliation
فَأَجْرُهُ
fa-ajruhu
then his reward
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِنَّهُ
innahu
Indeed He
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
like
الظَّالِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
