Sourate At-Tawba (Le Repentir) 9:68 — traduction et sens du verset

ۚ ۖ ۚ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ وَلَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ

Allah has promised
اللَّهُ
al-lahu

الْمُنَافِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrite men
وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ

and the hypocrite women
وَالْكُفَّارَ
wal-kufara
and the disbelievers
نَارَ
nara
Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of the) Hell
خَالِدِينَ
khalidina
they (will) abide forever
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
هِيَ
hiya
It (is)
حَسْبُهُمْ
hasbuhum
sufficient for them
وَلَعَنَهُمُ
wala'anahumu
And Allah has cursed them
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah has cursed them
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّقِيمٌ
muqimun
enduring

Translittération

Wa'adal laahul munafiqeena wal munaafiqaati wal kuffaara naara jahannnamma khaalideena feehaa; hiya hasbuhum; wa la'annahumul laahu wa lahum 'azaabum muqeem

Traduction

Aux hypocrites, hommes et femmes, et aux mécréants, Allah a promis le feu de l'Enfer pour qu'ils y demeurent éternellement. C'est suffisant pour eux. Allah les a maudits. Et pour eux, il y aura un châtiment permanent.

Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)

Allah a promis aux hypocrites et aux mécréants qui ne se sont pas repentis de les faire entrer dans le Feu de l’Enfer où ils demeureront éternellement. Cette punition leur suffira. De plus, Allah les chassera de Sa miséricorde et leur châtiment sera ininterrompu.
