قَالُوا يَامُوسَى إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَى

Translittération
Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa immaaa an tulqiya wa immaaa an nakoona awala man alqaa
Traduction
Ils dirent: «O Moïse, ou tu jettes, [le premier ton bâton] ou que nous soyons les premiers à jeter?»
Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)
Les magiciens dirent à Moïse: Ô Moïse, choisis: soit c’est toi qui commence ton numéro soit c’est nous qui commençons.
