فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ
Mot à mot
فَأَلْقَوْا
fa-alqaw
So they threw
حِبَالَهُمْ
hibalahum
their ropes
وَعِصِيَّهُمْ
wa'isiyyahum
and their staffs
وَقَالُوا
waqalu
and said
بِعِزَّةِ
bi'izzati
By the might
فِرْعَوْنَ
fir'awna
(of) Firaun
إِنَّا
inna
indeed we
لَنَحْنُ
lanahnu
surely we
الْغَالِبُونَ
al-ghalibuna
(are) the victorious
Translittération
Fa alqaw hibaalahum wa 'isiyyahum wa qaaloo bi'izzati Fir'awna innaa lanahnul ghaaliboon
Traduction
Ils jetèrent donc leurs cordes et leurs bâtons et dirent: «Par la puissance de Pharaon!... C'est nous qui serons les vainqueurs».
Interprétation du verset (Tafsir)
Ils jetèrent alors leurs cordes et leurs bâtons en disant: Par la grandeur de Pharaon, nous serons les vainqueurs, Moïse sera vaincu.
